About
My name is Jeske — a visual artist, photographer and designer based in the Netherlands. I love working at the intersection of image, identity and natural force.
After completing my MA in Media, Culture & Ethics and working in film, television and the cultural field, I felt a strong pull to move from organizing and producing into creating myself. I returned to study and later graduated as a graphic designer (cum laude), followed by photography.
My work is rooted in a long-standing fascination with how imagery shapes our sense of self. Not finding resonance in what was widely represented, I felt the need to create a visual language that is more aligned, grounded and true.
Today, I work across portrait photography, autonomous work and visual identity — always guided by presence, intuition and the natural energy that moves through all things.
I’m here to create work that feels alive, and to collaborate with those who feel a connection to that.
Women & Water
In water, I recognize the same qualities I see in women: softness and strength, resilience and the quiet power of creating and sustaining life.
Both have been shaped, used and often taken for granted, while holding an essential role in everything that exists.
Through my water photography, I explore and honor this presence: its movement, adaptability and silent force.
Women, water, life — to be continued.
